Echeverias are one of the most well-known succulents. There are plenty of types with different gorgeous colors when it comes to Echeverias. Same like other succulents, they are super easy to grow and take care of.
Provide porous soil with adequate drainage, pots with drainage hole are recommended. So if you don’t got one good pot, buying our plants with pot option isn’t a bad idea
Same like their succy relatives, Echeverias don’t need to be watered that often
You should water your plants thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Wait until the soil has dried out completely before watering your Echeveria, and then give it a good watering, letting the water stream through the drainage holes of the pot.
Never let your succulents sit in water.
Do NOT water on the leaves. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes. The hotter it is outside, the faster your soil will dry out, so you’ll need to water more often if you live in a hot area. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
- Temperature and Humidity
Echeverias love the hot and dry weather. Coldness and humidity could lead to root rot so it wouldn’t be a good idea to place them in a bathroom or laundry room.
Echeverias love your pets as much as you do so they are completely friendly and safe for pets.
